Different people have different kinds of wants (like kelty tents in my case) and needs and therefore, we all satisfy ourselves individually. Sometimes, it can be an easy task and then again, a lot of people find it hard to satisfy themselves due mainly to the fact that, most of us don’t really know our wants and needs.
The quest for satisfaction in this life is a very troublesome road full of barricades, stop-overs, ditches, speed-bumps, up hills and down hills. It is full of external factors as well as internal factors. One thing is clear, though. The quest for satisfaction is not always a straight line. Always prepare yourself with life’s many surprises.
Satisfaction can never be attained without a deep understanding of one’s self. It is through this understanding that you will discover the things that can satisfy you in life, your joys, aspirations, dreams, wants and your basic needs. The quest for satisfaction is a solo journey of self-reflection and development.
Well, hello there, K-pop Fans! I’m sure you were excited for the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards especially since a lot of great bands and solo singers actually came back after a long time of hiatus from the music scene.
I bet you were just as happy when your favorite groups won and a little disappointed when some of them didn’t. Well, that’s show business, right? Sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down.
Personally though, I wasn’t that much excited especially since I had a feeling that Super Junior would get most of the prestigious awards. And I was right, they won Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, two of the three awards. 2NE1 got the third award, Best Song of the Year.
What’s more disappointing, is that a lot of artists were not present at the awards. And most of them are those nominated but did not win. Well, maybe their companies were cutting down expenses especially since this year’s awards was in Singapore.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to next year and hoping that it’d be better.
Beauty pageants always ask the question on what will one do given the chance to change the past. Some answer the question but some opt not to. Well, it can be very easy if you are to just go back and change whatever you wanted to change. However, if you are given this chance for real, you have to realize that some things in the present or even in the future will be altered. Thus, if possible, you should just let things happen as they should. You can never control what is going to happen. Therefore, if you are given the chance to change the past, you better not get it. You might just make the future even worse. Besides, things happen for a reason. The best way to deal with this is to simply make the most out of every experience and learn from them. Rest assured, you will always get a way out of everything that you have.
A lot of countries fight for the right of juvenile delinquents. They believe that these kids are just kids and they do not know the consequences of their acts. Therefore, if they will be treated in the same way that the government treats adult offenders, it might be very unfair for them. However, considering the gravity of what these kids have been doing these days, it might just be a good move to also penalize them heavily. If they can kill and not feel anything about what they have done, they might just feel the urge to do it over and over again. It is also a bad way of sending these kids the message that when you have done wrong and you are a minor, it is just fine. What if they cannot correct these acts? For sure, there will be more people to suffer from their being irresponsible. Of course, it is also caused by the irresponsibility of the government handling them.
I am a fan of Ray William Johnson, one of the most subscribed Youtube vloggers in..well, Youtube. He is a very funny little guys, sometimes mean, sometimes racist, and he sometimes even makes fun of himself.
The thing with his vlog is that he offers great commentary and video reviews of other viral videos available on the internet. When I subscribed to his channel in Youtube, I guess I can call him “mainstream” then because he had more than a million followers. You can’t blame us, can you? This guy can really be funny and his facial expressions are just so adorable.
With all these, however, I see that he’s gone mega mainstream in a bad way. And he kind of lost his touch, if you know what I mean. I don’t know if there is shortage of interesting videos to review or he plainly just got caught up making money but I liked his posts before when it doesn’t feature famous people like Robin Williams.
