Down below are the attacking Red Ants, where the real duel is: Black ants decapitated, Fire ants on a long fall after being struck by the defending black ants foot.

Solignum is a very well known protector of wood.. They have this tag line “Solignum: Wood Protection in a Can”.

Today I applied a liter of Solignum in the third floor room here in our apartment. Termites decided to make a permanent residency up there and they are eating up most of the wood there so i decided to buy myself Solignum and paint them termites all away.

Solignum is popular here in the Philippines as termite busters but I guess this chemical can also be used to kill unwanted insects in wood. That said, if blackants and silverfish lived there or somewhere near them woods, they will be dead too…

That is not a Matchbox Twenty song.. And for the information of those who will stumble into this little piece of internet junk, the Matchbox 20 song you’re thinking is 3am.

Anyway, it’s me again, Mr. Blackants giving you all the rants in the world! I have tons of it actually and here’s the most latest one. I am sleepy! Tired sleepy and I can’t sleep yet! Why?! Job calls! I can’t sleep when there’ still things to do at work.

What does Mr. Blackants do? Well, I do computers and internet and servers. In other words, yes folks I am another one of those geeky geek who can’t stand 10 minutes away from a computer system

Anyway, Im tired now and will be heading to bed. I just want to share that part of my life to you, dear readers.

No Black Ants in a Clean House

A little black ant will eat anything and everything. So do your dishes. The little bits of food that get left behind on dirty dishes, pots, pans, and silverware make a damn fine meal for a black ant. Wipe stoves, countertops, and tables diligently after every meal or snack. Crumbs on the floor are tasty too. Develop an obsessive compulsive habit of sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Also remember to take your trash out regularly and to rinse out bottles and cans before ants can find them.
